One-of-a-kind – there is only one, and there won’t be another exactly like this.
Made to order – only a small limited number will be produced. Sometimes the number of size variations on offer are more than the number of products I have the supplies to produce, so please don’t take that as an indication of the number available.

Purchasing a hat
Purchasing a hat
When purchasing a hat you will need to choose a size. In order to do that you will need to know the head measurement of the person the hat is intended for. Measuring the head isn't difficult or complicated to do, but hopefully this quick guide will confirm how it's done.
To measure the head
You will need either a soft tape measure (dressmakers tape measure), or a piece of string and a regular tape measure to measure it against.

If you require a custom size, or a little help, you can send me a message here.

Turn a hole or stain into an opportunity to be creative with visible mending, using one or more of the techniques in this kit, which includes embroidery, patch applique, and needle-felting, a repair can be wearable art.
A hole could be patched with a swatch of pure cashmere, or with Bondaweb shapes cut from the cashmere to be used to form an applique design, and finished with a little embroidery. Use a stick and stitch patch to add an embroidery design or perhaps needle felting, or even a combination of the two.
A couple of the photo's show a repair I made on one of my cashmere sweaters using items from this kit.
There is no right or wrong way to invisible mending, just a willingness to try and explore the creative process. And the knitted cashmere pieces included can always be used for practice, before attempting a repair on the actual item.
The virtues to be gained from visible mending are numerous.. The instigating benefit of keeping a beloved item wearable for longer, has a well-being bonus that the act of mending is a relaxing mindful activity. And the sense of creative accomplishment is in itself a joy when wearing a transformed, and now unique to you, item.
That is quite a lot of "feel good" from simply adding some eye-appeal. There is nothing to loose but a lot to gain by having the willingness to try. Plus letting your imagination fly is a lot of fun!
