When purchasing a hat you will need to choose a size. In order to do that you will need to know the head measurement of the person the hat is intended for. Measuring the head isn't difficult or complicated to do, but hopefully this quick guide will confirm how it's done.
To measure the head
You will need either a soft tape measure (dressmakers tape measure), or a piece of string and a regular tape measure to measure it against.

Structured for warmth, this simple style unisex gilet is the ultimate body warmer. A wearable quilt!
Black aged vintage denim, the unique markings adding character, is first quilted to soft cotton winceyette with horizontal and vertical lines in navy blue stitching. This form of quilting is called flat quilting, the purpose of which is to add that extra layer of warmth. While the navy top-stitching adds a very subtle hint of colour to the black denim.
The black denim is lined with contrasting petrol blue micro fleece, which is also then quilted to the denim creating double lines of vertical top-stitching. This design detail echos double stitching found on denim jeans and jackets.
The back of the gilet has a yoke detail, which along with the black aged denim gives the gilet a biker feel.
This uncluttered pocket-less vest shaped garment is finished with an equally simple velcro closure. Perfect for the winter months!

Materials: vintage cotton denim, upcycled cotton winceyette, polyester fleece
Care -
Cool wool wash. Drip dry. If a press is required - lay fleece side down on a towel, to avoid flattening the pile. Cover denim with a cloth, to avoid sheening.
