When purchasing a hat you will need to choose a size. In order to do that you will need to know the head measurement of the person the hat is intended for. Measuring the head isn't difficult or complicated to do, but hopefully this quick guide will confirm how it's done.
To measure the head
You will need either a soft tape measure (dressmakers tape measure), or a piece of string and a regular tape measure to measure it against.

Crafted from beautiful vintage floral fine linen trimmed with reclaimed satin silk, the piping and bow on the front adds a subtle chic touch, and the neutral cotton canvas lining provides both comfort and form to the fine linen.
Thin plastic millinery reed has been added to the brim edge so it will keep it's shape and not flop. This also allows for the brim to be flipped up at the front or on one side.
The bonnet style back provides ample room for any hairstyle, making it both practical and stylish, while the tie can be tightened or loosened for a comfortable fit for head sizes ranging from small 22”/ 56cm to large 24”/61cm.
The vintage linen and reclaimed silk add unique character to this classic vintage style bell shaped hat, with a 60's or 90's feel.
