Purchasing a hat
When purchasing a hat you will need to choose a size. In order to do that you will need to know the head measurement of the person the hat is intended for. Measuring the head isn't difficult or complicated to do, but hopefully this quick guide will confirm how it's done.
To measure the head
You will need either a soft tape measure (dressmakers tape measure), or a piece of string and a regular tape measure to measure it against.

Couldn't load pickup availability
The beret is handmade from up-cycled pure cashmere sweaters of blue, dark and pale grey, which are patch-worked and quilted to soft cotton winceyette with vertical and diagonal lines to form the tip of the hat. This form of quilting is called flat quilting, the purpose of which is to add that extra layer of warmth.
Dark grey pure wool felt is used for the underside of the tip. It is lined in beautifully soft blue sandwash silk which is quilted to the cashmere. The hat band is also in blue silk and is lightly elasticated.
These all natural luxurious fabrics will softly hug the head for comforting warmth.
